Jon Bittner is the co-founder and CEO of Splitwise, the easiest way to share expenses with friends. Splitwise’s free mobile apps have helped roommates, travelers, couples and friends share billions of dollars in over 170 countries. Since its founding, Splitwise has raised over $2MM in seed capital from investors including Great Oaks, Scott Banister, and Silicon Valley Bank, and has been covered by the New York Times, Wall St Journal, Buzzfeed, and TIME Magazine. Prior to starting Splitwise, Jon was a PhD candidate in Astrophysics at Harvard University. He also holds a BS in Physics from Yale University and lives with his wife in Providence, RI.
