While sales at small businesses were down 5.5% week-over-week, most of the downturn is attributable to the Memorial Day holiday.

Sales up 12% last week, the largest week-over-week increase since early March.

For the second full week of May, sales at small businesses increased 3.1% over the previous week.

Sales down just 3.3% over the baseline week; number of active merchants grew for the 3rd straight week.

Sales at small businesses were up 11.1% last week—just 12.6% below our baseline week of March 2–8, 2020.

Sales were flat but transactions increased by 6%, maintaining an important trend line that bodes well for small businesses
