Paul Tower, an experienced Engineering leader and payment industry veteran, is the Vice President of Engineering at CardFlight.
As the VP of Engineering, Paul oversees the Engineering department at CardFlight, including personnel, technical direction, and compliance. He oversees several Engineering managers, whose teams are responsible for the software development and quality assurance across the mobile and web platforms within the company.
Paul joined the company in 2013 as a Senior Software Engineer.
Before joining CardFlight, Paul was a mobile engineer for Unpakt, an online marketplace dedicated to taking the confusion out of hiring movers through clear and upfront pricing. Unpakt received coverage in The New York Times, TechCrunch, CNBC, Forbes, CNN, and others.
Paul earned BS degrees in Sociology and Communications from Virginia Tech. He resides in New Jersey and volunteers as the Sound Director for a local theater company when he’s not watching Formula 1 races.
