Robert Newton, a product leader and technology strategist, is the VP of Product at CardFlight.
As VP of Product, Robert spearheads the product team focused on developing and implementing various product features, including new batch reports for merchants, software packages, and new onboarding experiences for merchants. He has also led CardFlight’s recent L3 EMV certifications and managed stakeholder relationships with card brands, ISO partners, and acquiring processors.
Robert joined CardFlight in 2021, with prior roles including Senior Web Engineer, Engineering Manager, and Technical Project Manager.
Prior to joining CardFlight, Robert served as a Technology Consultant and Account Delivery Lead at CGI. Here, he partnered with companies in the healthcare, finance, and publishing industries, managed client relationships, provided technical oversight, and coordinated project delivery.
Robert earned a Master of Science from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering and Applied Mathematics from Vanderbilt University. Outside of work, he is an aspiring golfer and an avid fan of college football.
